Absent

As you can see, my theme for this blogfest is absent.

I don't do themes.
And I was absent for the blog theme reveal day.
I didn't sign up at that point.

My posts will be absent of A is for, B is for, and so on and so forth.
I trust you to figure it out.

I have been absent from my blog a lot lately.
My mind has been absent and I couldn't think of anything to say.

Except, maybe, bitching about this or that.
But, after about day 5, I think you would become absent to my blog.

No one likes a whiner.

Have a great day!

    1. Oh, Lynn. I haven't gotten to yummy stuff. Several months back I had an unfortunate electrical trike to my phone line and that zapped that computer. Because, I don't think, all my blog recipe photo backlog was on there instead of me moving them to my external drive. Between that and not feeling too good lately, that blog has been suffering a little bit. I do have a few pics but not enough for the challenge. I do need to post something new. It is nice to know I have been missed over there. :)

    Well, there's your 'b' and 'w' posts.

    1. Al, I don't have anything for either letter so I may resort to those.

  4. Ahhhh, the joys of being on autopilot. I did a tongue in cheek bit about having a Theme - though, I think some folks took it seriously - go figure.

I think some of the best posts I read are those inspired in the present moment. As for my so called them, I would say the H word will rule - Humour, Helpful, Hungover and Happy… maybe in that order! hahahaha

You'll surprise us with your spontaneity. Have fun with it!

    Until tomorrow - "B" happy. :)

    2. I like your anything goes theme, seriously. ;) I thought the post was clever. My personal favorite is V- Vell, vhat do you vant!
I have written posts before that were meant to be funny and everyone took them so seriously. Aren't you left with that sense of " what is going on- you are suppose to laugh here, people."?

    3. It's true, sometimes as I'm writing my posts I'm cracking up. But then after I let it sit a bit (which I've now taken to doing) and read it again I wonder if folks will get my often dry humour. Oh well, I do write them for me… if "they" don't get it too bad, too sad (for them). LOL

See, when I wrote that calendar, I was really not thinking these would be taken seriously - seems a few comments are indicating they're looking forward to a particular letter.

A pal of mine, who reads but doesn't blog, said, "I can't wait till you write P - Pluck a hair." Whereby she laughed herself silly. Go figure. Okay.. I'm looking for a chicken that's being plucked for that one. hahahaha

Anyway… seriously, I'm just going with what comes to me the day before.

The reason for today's, about adding the Follow Button, is because it irks me when it's not there, particularly on an actual Blogger site. The damn folks at Blogger buried it in "More Gadgets" so folks would be stuck thinking they had to set up Google +.

I hope you don't stress about your post - this is for fun… it's not a test, or job interview… hell, now that's stress.

    4. I am going to have to go back and read those comments. How could you not see the days and not think it was a joke?
Or, you could find a picture of a nose with long nose hairs. Add in a paiir of tweezers and you got yourself a post. HAHA!
I thought that button was gone. I like being able to click on a person's name and go to their profile and find blog or just go directly to blog. Before I have clicked their name and got sent to Google+ and can't find a link to get to their blog. That is frustrating.
      Not going to stress.Promise!

  5. I do hope you are feeling better. My son does much better without gluten. I would love to have some recipes! Especially "bread" recipes.

    1. Getting rid of the gluten did a lot of good. I will see what I can do about some recipes. :)
