It was the case of the vanishing brain power,
She could no longer recall the word she wanted.
It was there.
And POOF, it vanished.
Only to be remembered five minutes later.
She called her cat, her dead cat's name.
She forgot that cat died.
Where were all these brain farts coming from?
She forgot that she did U yesterday and did another U word today.
That post has now since vanished.
Was it brain fog from the fibro that her doctor thinks she has?
Or did her brain just take a small vacation without telling her?
However, it is just crazy.
Her mind seems very lazy.
Very mysterious indeed.
The mind can be a fickle thing
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, Pat.
DeleteBrain farts! Pain will do that:)
ReplyDeleteBirgit, I imagine it can.
DeleteBrain farts.
DeleteWhy you should wear ear plugs.
Or else you'll clear the room.
But, Al, my head could explode. Or implode?
DeleteMy head already has...I cleared the room:)
DeleteI call my son my brother's name. I've got memory issues.
ReplyDeleteSusie, maybe you are just having brain farts too.
DeleteI see the word in my head that I want to say but can I get my mouth to say it? For me I just think its getting old, but a lot does vanish indeed.
ReplyDeletebetty
Betty, I do know what you mean.
DeleteOh, can I relate! I hope you don't have fms. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteMake that gentle hugs.
DeleteThanks, Gail. I go to the rheumatologist in June and hopefully get it all figured out.

That we do, Sunni.
DeleteNo, really, who am I?
DeleteAl, you are a man with many names.
DeleteI hate it when my brain goes to some tropical island and sips strawberry margaritas while getting massaged by a gorgeous brown man without me. And yet it happens so often.
ReplyDeleteHey, we go to the same masseuse… and we love the same drinks! LOL Just wish it was the real me going!
DeleteI had that brown man thing, too.
DeleteI really should lay off those margaritas.
Robyn, I could use a vacation with your brain.
DeleteI'm farting all the times - my brain thinks it's funny while I'm getting depressed about the second and third trip into the same room trying to remember why I came in it in the first place. Arrgghhh.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, I'm learning to laugh about it and not feel I have to apologize every time I find a foot in my mouth. I mean really, how many feet do we women have?! hahahaha
You put a smile on my face about having written U twice… we definitely are from the same gene pool! LOL

@PearsonReport
I just farted.
DeleteBlamed the dog.
Jenny, I felt rather silly( or stupid) that I did that. So, I resorted to the dictionary and thought vanish fit nicely.
DeleteAl, you need to stop it. Everyone knows it wasn't the dog.
I spend most of the time without the use of my brain. You get used to it.
ReplyDeleteOkay, who am I and what were we talking about?
I don't know. I forget.
DeleteGood V post! I hate when I can't remember the right words for things...
ReplyDeleteVisiting from A to Z.
Yvonne
Thank you, Yvonne. It is very frustrating.
DeleteSometimes we go a little mad and some times we forget things... wait where are we going?
ReplyDeleteJeremy, I am just gonna stand here until I remember.
DeleteHaha! That vanishing thing happens to me all the time!
ReplyDeleteSherry, And then the kids laugh. Fun times. Or maybe that's just my kid.
DeleteI'm already suffering from this, and at an age that I thought way too young for such a thing. And yet I imagine it will only get worse. Wait, what was I talking about again?
ReplyDeleteApparently we all suffer from CRS from time to time.
