Decisions Decisions

I saw this picture this morning and thought it was pretty good.

It made me think of something I read or heard a long time ago. Not making a decision is in and of itself a decision.

Many times there is no clear cut good or bad decision. It is a decision that may set you on a different path that's all.

Obviously, some things are bad decisions.
Like eating something you are allergic to or buying something you can't afford.

But, sitting on the fence for days or months is going to accomplish nothing.
You can't decide so nothing changes.

  1. I know I shouldn't giggle but I did. Sorry. The opening poster (although cruel) is funny and it is so true. If we are too indecisive, opportunities pass us by. Great post. Thank you!

    1. Jeff, my husband says that too. Which is ironic as it takes him forever to decide.

  6. Standing in front of the toilet paper aisle at the supermarket is a good way to practice making decisions. Nevermind! :-)

PS I deleted the other post which was the same because I misspelled toilet! Sorry about that.

  9. I agree - about flat squirrels and the need to decide. We're likely to have second thoughts and regrets anyway, so just decide. Time and life are too precious not to.

    1. Hey, Robyn! People worry about the what if. No matter what, you are gonna wonder what if anyway.

  11. There are definitely days when I need to remember this quote; it is so true. And what a great way to encourage decisiveness. Hopefully I will never become a flat squirrel. :)
