Que Sera Sera

I always really liked this song.
The lyrics always spoke to me so well.

The road of life has many twists and turns.
No one really knows what is in our future.

This song was sung by Doris Day and the lyrics are pretty simple.
Here they are.

Que Sera Sera

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

When I was young, I fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will we have rainbows, day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome, will I be rich
I tell them tenderly.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

  1. A good song indeed as we never know what is to come. Can change on a dime

    1. Pat, I never try to look ahead too far. It's a good way to get stressed out.

  3. I loved it, too, but (when we were kids) we used to to say "Case of cigars, cigars, whatever will be, will be!"
    Yeah, we were weird kids.

    1. LMAO - only you, as a kid, could come up with your own version.

  5. I love this song and often sing Itis my head...or in the car when I am alone since my voice makes animals cry.
