Fuzzy Wuzzy

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.
Fuzzy Wuzzy has no hair.
Fuzzy Wuzzy was not so fuzzy.
Was he?

Now say that three times fast.

Who remembers that gem from their childhood?

    1. Hi Ruth… given my getting up early and being in a strange wit I think in light of the cute and sweet nature of this post my strange attachment to weird childhood tunes was rather not fitting - hence its removal… oh to be me! LOL

    2. Maybe I am strange too because I saw nothing wrong with it.

    1. My dad used to mumble that and us kids cotton on to it and sang it everywhere we went until Dad told us to knock it off… gather it wasn't for public consumption. hahahaha

    3. hahahahahaha thanks for the smile. Seems my dear old Dad had been calling me 24/7 to check in on me - I've been rather under the weather the last four days - so when I read your Fuzzy I laughed and that tune had popped in to my head.

    4. We say lots of things in this house that are probably not for public, but oh well.

    1. Robyn, I always loved Fuzzy Wuzzy. Not in a Martha sort of way though.

Yes I recall that one and it brought back many others we used to say. Nice to see you again. It seems like we only see each other on the A-Z. LOL

    1. Manzanita, I think I follow too many blogs because I don't see yours come up much. Or, maybe you are posting when I am not here. It is nice to see you too.

  6. I remember that one. Do you remember the little bars of soap shaped like bears? When they dried, they got all fuzzy. Wet 'em down, the hair goes away. They were called "Fuzzy Wuzzies."

    1. Al, never heard of them so looked it up. At first I thought maybe they were before my time, but people my age remembered them. There's another thing my parents deprived me of. They look so cute.

    2. Your parents? Or the bear soaps?

    3. Well, my parents deprived me of an emotional bond, but I was talking about the bears.

  7. I tried it, it is kind of tricky.
I did not grow up with it though.
