Kickin' It

You can kick a ball.
Or~
You can kick the bucket.
You can even kick the can down the road.

You can kick some ass and take name.
Or~
You can kick back and relax.

So, here I am.
Just kicking around some ideas.

  4. I wonder why "kick back" means "relax." You got me thinking about that.

    Have a kick-back Friday, Ruth.

    1. Robyn, I am guessing it has to do with reclining in a chair and relaxing. Maybe putting your feet up on the footstool or footrest of recliner could mean kick back even though your feet are going forward.
