I Just Want Some Bath Salts

That's all I want.
Bath salts for my bath.

Can I have any?
I don't know.
Can I?

Can I?

"Bath salts" are illegal in the state of Iowa.
Bath salts are fine though.

This is all just a little confusing.
They are called the same thing.
But, quotes around the words make them bad.

"Bath salts" are a synthetic drug and are not to be confused with bath salts- which are for putting in your bath.
If you find it in the health and beauty section, you should be good.

But, there is a list of the "bath salts" that aren't really bath salts.

Taken from IA DPS-
"Known street names or product names for the “bath salts” of concern include Black Rob, Maddie, Magic, MDPK, MTV, Super Coke, as well as packaging labeled as “Bath Salts” or “Incense” and including a product name such as Aura, Blue Silk, Bonzai Grow, Charge Plus, Euphoria, Hurricane Charlie, Ivory Wave, Lovey Dovey, Ocean, Pixie Dust, Red Dove, Scarface, Vanilla Sky, White Dove, White Girl, White Lightning."

So, if some employee accidentally places these in the health and beauty section of the store, you need to take this list OR memorize( your preference) it so you don't get arrested for drug possession.

Maybe I will have to figure out how to make my own so I can "effervesce" without fear of consequences.

You don't think they would raid my house, do you?

" I don't know. She's so quiet. Who knew she'd have a "bath salts" lab on her property? Are you sure she wasn't making bath salts?"

  1. That's really confusing. I like bath salts, too. And some of those names are really appealing - - Vanilla Sky, Ivory Wave, White Dove. If it's bad for you, it should have ugly, gross names - - like Filthy Soot, or Crappy Cactus.

  2. So, how are "bath salts" taken? Orally, intravenously, inhaled, or as a suppository?
    :-O
Just to be sure, I'm going to stick to showers.

  4. Around here they have "bath bombs" -they would probably call out the State Police and FBI for those in Iowa!

  5. Yeah the local police don't like the unbath salts. I can't believe they didn't ban them already

    1. They are taking about it again this year. I guess they keep changing ingredients so they can still sell them. The governor mentioned just outright banning all salts.

    1. I didn't either, Yvonne. Not til last year when they banned them. I thought it was bath salts and not "bath salts". But, my daughter got bath salts for Christmas and I became confused. She got the kind for the bath so it's OK. Been on the news lately again so I thought I needed to investigate.

    1. I am sure that is next on the list, Mynx. If it becomes illegal you can smuggle some for me.

  8. It's weird how every day words can become something else. I've never heard of "bath salts" but I have used bath salts that cause me to swell up like a helium balloon.

  9. Just heard about some model chick running an international drug ring by putting coke in containers of bath salt to ship around the world via FedEx and UPS. Hmm.. Are epsom salts next on the list?

    1. Sue, I have never heard about that. Epsom salt? That would not surprise me. The town of Knoxville has a list of things you can't buy together. I just don't remember what they all are.

  10. Oh I bet you want some "bath salts," you troublemaker! ;)

  11. How strange. I just bathed in lavender epsom salt. Everything's legal in CA - well, almost everything- so I think I'm fine. I know I smell pretty good right now.

    1. I bet you do smell nice. I love lavender. Iowa is odd. Gay people can marry, but they can't buy "bath salts". Go figure.

  12. Oh crap! I DO make my own bath salts! But bath salts, not "bath salts" - just to clarify...

    1. rofl! A good friend of mine from way back actually made her own bath salts and lotions and sold them online. I don't think she does it anymore though.

I can still remember how awesome the lotions smelled.

btw! Bath salts are awesome! They make bath time so much more enjoyable. Can't say the same thing for drugs. :p
