Decisions, Decisions!

I took an unscheduled break.
Something, I apparently needed.
I didn't realize I did.

But, I had nothing I wanted to put down into cyberspace.
I thought of saying pen and paper. But, that's not right. Keyboard and CPU just doesn't have the same ring.
As I was saying-

I had

Nada
Zero
Zilch

All the thoughts in my head were just not there.

Than I realized the A-Z challenge starts-
This coming Sunday!

Holy crap!

My brain seems frozen.
What do I do?

First plan of action-
Finish my list of recipes for Yummy Stuff.

Amazingly enough, I am stuck on the same letters as last year.
There are not as many k recipes as you'd think.
Almost every food that starts with the "k" sound seems to actually start with a c.
Unless you count kohlrabi, which I have never cooked.

I don't have anything done for this delightful blog.
I have a few ideas.
That is as far as that goes.

But, isn't that the fun?
For me, it is.

See, what I can just pull out of my brain that day.

Now, I must go decide where to plant my onions in the garden!

  1. It will be fun! Just name a dish - Krazy Karrot Kebab.

    1. I've never had that either. That's a good idea. I might have to see if I can find some.

  3. You are brave. I would have a panic attack if I didn't write my A-Z pots ahead of time.

    1. Either brave or an idiot. It's a toss up.

  4. For "K' I'm using "Kryptonite."
But, I really don't think you can eat that.
Feeling like I'm in neutral, waiting for the flag to go down Sunday.

    1. Well, you could. It may be a little hard to pass unless you're Superman and than it would probably kill you.
Falls in the not recommended category.

  5. Yep, that's the fun of it for me too. If I had it all planned ahead it would take the fun out of it. I'm stopping by to say hello before the A-Z challenge begins. I'm a new follower here :)

  6. Last year I joined the a-z the day after it started and had no choice but to write every day. It made getting around to the other blogs a bit of a challenge. This year I'm working ahead and hoping to spend more time reading others.

    1. I joined late last year too. I never did get to everyone. I hope to do better this time around.

  7. I signed up for the challenge, and have been wavering ever since.
I dont even know if I will end up taking part, much less what I will write about.
But that is pretty much how I roll so I admire those that can actually plan ahead

    1. I did pretty good winging it last year. No ideas at all before the day. Doing recipes takes a little forethought so I can take a picture.
I think you'll do great if you go ahead with it.

  8. If you give me some onions, I'll give you some lemons. My tree is full of them. When Nellie gives you lemons, make lemonade.

    1. You have a lemon tree? That's awesome. I am too far north to have one. You are lucky! We'll have to see how the onions do. Last year I ended up with squat because the garden flooded. :(

  9. Oh! Come up with something great for KALE because that's a vegetable I want to like, but it just plain sucks.

    1. Ron, we just call it macaroni and cheese or mac and cheese here. I had forgotten it was called kraft dinner in Canada.

  11. K is for Kaptain Kaos! (Because I play fast and loose with the alphabet.)
