I am not doing more random facts cause I just did that.

Kara bought up a point. What is a pie floater? Here is the definition-
A Pie Floater is an iconic South Australian dish. Traditionally served by the now gone Pie Cart outside of the Adelaide Railways Station, it was a late night go to after a night on the town. Take a meat pie and put it upside down in a bowl of green pea soup and add a squirt of tomato sauce.
Ruth, I love your "about me" section.
ReplyDelete"I am moody" WONDERFUL!
How do you survive without coffee???
Somedays I really wonder.
DeleteA fly floater is pea soup?! And just how did you know that?!
ReplyDeleteThis is Mynx's definition of a pie floater- A Pie Floater is an iconic South Australian dish. Traditionally served by the now gone Pie Cart outside of the Adelaide Railways Station, it was a late night go to after a night on the town. Take a meat pie and put it upside down in a bowl of green pea soup and add a squirt of tomato sauce.
DeleteI'd be fine with the meat pie, but no can do on pea soup.
Why are there so many songs about Rainbows? It's an umbrella maker conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteIf you could come down under, where is the first place you would go? If I could come down under...that means I got lucky in Australia.
Which way does the water go down your drain - clockwise or anticlockwise? I thought it just went down.
Would you eat a pie floater? Depends on what was floating in that pie. For instance, an "East River Floater" or "Commode Floater" are different things entirely.
When was the last time you tried something new? New Coke.
Scrunch or fold? Not sure if this is clothes or toilet paper. Either one will work in a pinch.
What is the scariest activity you can think of and would you do it? Passenger in Lindsay Lohan's car. Nope. Rather ride with Charlie Sheen.
What is the first Australian slang word you think of and when would you use it? Bugger. Prison?
"Ego is not a dirty word" what do you think? 'Ego' is not. But, 'Leggo my Eggo' could be construed as a dirty phrase.
What is your all time favourite Australian movie? Mad Max. Wasn't he Australian? Crocodile Dundee, then? Ok, 'Witness.' No, wait. Crap. That was about the Amish. Screw it. Alright, maybe anything with Nicole Kidman in it.
Who would you go gay/straight for? I'd go straight for any girl who wouldn't leggo my eggo.
I thought the water just went down too.
DeleteHey we answered similarly about scrunch or fold. HA!
New coke? Me thinks you need to get out more.
Thanks for playing, those are good.

A Pie Floater actually sounds like something I would eat, minus the tomato sauce.
ReplyDeleteI might eat it with the tomato sauce, but not the pea soup. We could share.

ReplyDeleteNo worries, Tracy. ( thought I'd throw that out, I remember how you love that phrase ;) )
