  1. I'm guessing someone got saturday confused. Though it's rare to see any store closed on sundays.

    1. Adam, in Pella nothing is open on Sundays. Not even the Walmart. I didn't think about them meaning Saturday.

  2. So do they do all the hunting and gathering on Sundays, then open the doors for the public the next day? I don't know, it doesn't sound too kosher, Ruth. I'd stay away.

    1. Robyn, That is a thought. Dream job, being paid to hunt?

  3. I assume that since their meat is fresh, Sunday is spent chopping up whole cows and chickens while the store is closed. And really, who wouldn't want to do that for $8 an hour?

    1. BFTS, Don't forget making the summer sausage. That place makes a mean summer sausage.

    1. Al, If they do open a store on a Sunday in Pella, it is surely a sign of the apocalypse. Oh my God! It's coming!

  5. So the job must be guarding the shop to prevent hungry carnivores from raiding it. I would have hired a rhinoceros.

    1. Gorilla Bananas, they could be afraid the rhino would eat their tulips. Pella is a Dutch town and you don't mess with the tulips. Twould be bad.
