Somewhere?
You can see the top of our turtle enclosure. Poor Rainbow had to come back in after some nice sunny days outside.
The snow is wet and very heavy.
One side of the bird feeder is full of snow so the poor birdies can't get any food. They are crowding around the open sides. And whoever heard of a snow day in May?
I have friends in Arkansas who were under a winter weather advisory yesterday! And here I was in SE Michigan wearing shorts & a t-shirt. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteLisa, two days ago, it was A/C worthy. My cousin said it was snowing in the Fayetteville area this morning. Very weird, definitely!
DeleteSorry, Ruth. I'm sending over some Californa Sun.

ReplyDeleteAdam, earlier this week it was 80 here. How quickly that went away.
DeleteHoping springtime comes your way very soon.
ReplyDeleteGail, all spring Mother Nature has been teasing us. It starts to warm up. Cools down and back and forth. I hope the warm will stay soon.
DeleteWOW! It's raining here, and everything is blooming like crazy!
ReplyDeleteYvonne, our grass was all green, the buds were about ready to open and BAM came the cold. My husband found some dead tree frogs that didn't survive the freeze.
DeleteMy GOD...can Iowa catch a break?
ReplyDeleteWinter in May, followed by tornadoes, followed by blistering heat of summer, followed by never-ending winter again.
At least the Indian attacks have pretty much settled down.
And you have good corn.
And are nowhere near New Jersey....hmmm...come to think of it, I'd take winter in May.
I don't know, Al. I just want to plant my sweetcorn.
DeleteThat is crazy. I have been imagining everybody on your side of the world enjoying warm sunny spring days
ReplyDeleteMynx, two days before that picture it was nice. Now, the snow is gone and it is nice enough for no coat.
DeleteWe missed the snow in Cedar Rapids. Just rain. But now it's glorious outside!
ReplyDeleteSue, my parents got a lot more than I did. They are a lot farther west too. It is nice today!
DeleteWe're supposed to get up to 60 degrees today. I'm not holding my breath. I'm also not taking my snow brush out of my car.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the weather crazy?
DeleteAppreciate this post. Will try it out.
ReplyDeleteHere is my blog miscrits
I'm feeling a little guilty now after posting about my Sunday outing down to our sun drenched beaches - yikes you've got it bad down there. Well, I say pack up Honeyman and sweet child and come on up for a visit! Lord knows you deserve a break or two!
ReplyDeleteHugs to turtle, birds, sweet corn and you! Hope May finds her way to your house soon - before June beats her to it.
Jenny, the snow is all gone now. The turtle is back out too. The news is calling for 86 F next Tuesday. From one end to the other.
Deleteoh wow---i hope it is all gone by now!!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lynn, it is. It only stayed a couple days. It was so nice than the snow came and now it is nice again. Well, we have rain today, but it is still warm.
