Congrats Sir Paul

You have just gotten an award that has been given to a muppet.

OK, so Paul McCartney won for music
and Kermit got one for....
being green?

That is right.

The coveted Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Not that Mr. McCartney isn't worthy of a star.
It is just that it really doesn't mean that much anymore, does it?

Dogs get one.
That's right.
Lassie and Rin Tin Tin got one.

So do movies
like "Godzilla"
or soundtracks
like "Chicago".

Even cartoon characters such as
Winnie the pooh
and Tinker Bell  got them.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame people are drawing the line, by God.
No reality show stars.

But, if you produce them
that's fine.
Mark Burnett, the king of reality shows got one.

    1. She does not. There is one for all of the muppets and than Kermit got one for his very own. It's just not right.

  4. It's only a matter of time before Carrot Top gets one.

    1. Hey now! Whatever did the Diceman do to you?
"Jack & Jill went up the hill, each with a buck and a quarter. Jill came down with two-fifty. OOOHHHH!"

That is so bad that I remember that.

    1. This is true. No matter how hard I try, I just can't that color.

  6. You are right, it doesn't mean much when a hand puppet can get one.

  7. Lord I hope Snooki's not on that list. I'm not even going to look at it - it would upset me too much.

    1. So far it's safe to look. Reality show "stars" aren't accepted. For now anyway.

  8. The whole thing has gotten silly. I grew up in SoCal and remember how exciting it used to be to see the "stars." But I believe that Miss Piggy is probably more deserving than some of the stars memorialized in cement :)
