Thoughts of Times Past

It's getting cold in my area of the world.

I'd like to look back on a few memories from spring and summer past.

 Fun with food!

It's deer out in the yard,

 Stormy weather!

This was fun to clean up first thing in the morning.

It's time for freezing some corn!

Bob, the squirrel, got tired of me snapping his picture so he left.
I named him Bob because he was quite the barker.

  1. Great shots. A squirrel can't be clumsy. I was watching one travel the full length of the alley on a utility wire. Wish I had that kind of balance. Bob the Barker.... very funny.

    1. Manzanita, it's good to see you! They do seem to go everywhere.

  2. Love the look back. The photos are fun. That tree would have taken some effort to get sorted

    1. Mynx, that was not fun. Our chainsaw had walked away with someone so it got chopped up with an axe. Even cut up, it took a lot to move.

  3. it's a shame fresh corn goes downhill (and more expensive) during winter time.

    1. Adam, I don't know if I can even find fresh around here in the winter. I have never seen it.

    1. Thank you, Amber. My daughter told me that was a very unoriginal name. :/

    1. Not quite, Gail. Several years ago my husband found the head and antlers of a deer. He hung it up so the flies could clean it off. They are a little slow.

  6. Just like the human, this barker doesn't seem to mind getting caught acting squirrely.

    Be well, Ruth.

    1. Bob is quite unique in that way, Robyn. Most squirrels run, but he was feisty. He seems to have disappeared for now.
