A Mound of Money and a Mound of Food

That's what there is after Sunday's festivities.

I have way too much food. This week will be spent eating pasta salad, veggies and dip, chips and dip, crackers and dip, ham sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, snickers salad, and cake/cupcakes.

I think that about covers it.
I sent a lot of the cake to work with Honeyman, but left a little home for others to eat.
I did make cupcakes that I can eat and those are left.

It was rainy. It poured in the morning and supposed to do so later so we had stuff inside.

Kiddo did good.
She got so much money, she could almost pay all my bills for the month.

So, what do she do yesterday?
She goes shopping.

At the clearance rack.

After the craziness of last week, I am looking forward to getting back to normal and getting more rest.

What am I gonna do?
Well, I already deleted the high school phone number out of my phone.
Next up:
I am unliking their Facebook page.

After that...maybe a little happy dance that I am done with that school.

  1. Sounds like your daughter's graduation and subsequent gathering went well! Always enjoy to have a bit of leftovers for the week :) Good idea to put behind that which is meant to be put behind, like removing the phone number and unliking the Facebook page. Now onto her future endeavors which I am sure will be great ones!

    1. Betty, leftovers are nice. In fact, I don't plan to cook this week. :)

  2. I remember from previous posts that your daughter did not have a good experience at her high school. Perhaps someday she will be able to recall a few positive memories.
We had a little cookout on Sunday. We are finishing up the last of the grilled chicken and salads tonight.

    1. lyndagrace, she did have some good times and she would even admit that. Just a lot of stress on her.
Grilled chicken sounds great. I have not even gotten the grill out this year,

  3. Shedding the school I bet is great for both of you. Can't go wrong with a mound of dough either.

    1. Susie, I don't think I could do what you do. I am pretty sure I'd be fired.

  7. Good for kiddo! But did she at least cover your electric bill? Internet? Buy you a new pair of socks? At any rate, I'm happy to see a happier post here. =)

    1. Robyn, wouldn't that be nice? She'd probably pay it if I asked though. Thanks, Robyn.
