I Must Ask You a Question

Is there something about me that says, " Don't answer"?

I really am starting to wonder.

Site forums, emails, Facebook groups, Facebook statuses, even sometimes in search engines.
Other people ask the same question and get an answer.
Maybe several.

Me?
I get squat.

Maybe I really don't need to know how my sister is.
Maybe since I don't write in all caps all the time like Honeyman, I don't need answers.

I don't know what it is.
Some people don't answer me when I take the time to comment on something they wrote.
They answer everyone else, but not me.

I don't get it.
I really don't.

Maybe I need to start drinking wine and coffee and post pics of my beverage consumption.
Maybe I need to give up on my sister ever really telling me anything anymore.

I guess I don't need to know if the two chicks I have are males and not females like all were supposed to be.
Just wait til crowing or laying happens.

I don't need to find the website that I read something on a long time ago.
It's not important.
Just cause I need a source so someone will believe me.
That's fine, Search Engine.

    1. Al, I was having a moment and got fed up when I was trying to ask about me chicks. Twice and no one answered and someone else asks the same question about theirs and answers in minutes. Burns my butter.

    2. That's a much more gentile expression than "frosts my 'nads." I like it.

  4. {{hugs}} I feel your pain. That happens to me in life & it cheeses me off. I'll be asking a question at work and co-worker pipes in with some stupid thing her grandkid did & bam - I don't exist. Even at my Weight Watcher meetings, I feel as tho I need to keep my comments or questions as short as possible so I don't get talked over, but other people can tell these long rambling stories and are listened to like they're spouting gospel.

  5. I left a group of people who would email daily about stuff because rarely did I get any feedback of stuff I wrote abou but would try to encourage others. I too dont know why some get answered some do not.

    1. Betty, sometimes it seems like the internet world is just another high school.

  6. I never write much on Facebook and do post a few things which is shared from someone else. Do I get many comments or even likes??? Not really but I don't care. Now if my brother never responded, I would be upset and would wonder why. I then would have to realize that I can't control their actions, just my reaction to them

    1. Birgit, I rarely get comments from my sister on Facebook. My other sister that doesn't really tell me anything left Facebook due to her religion. She says not, but the leader told them it was evil so...

  7. For some it's all about "me" and they won't respond to anyone else unless it suits their needs. Pffft to them is all we say and be on our way.

    1. Pat, Isn't that the truth? One day I got tired of my one cousin commenting to everyone else but me and deleted her. She is not crucial to my existence.

  8. Boy do I know what you mean about Facebook. I just take it that a lot of people maybe have me on ignore or something. Now several years ago my boss and I had it out on Facebook. It was bad. Every so often it shows up again on the Memories. Ugh times I like to forget!!!!

    1. Gossip_Grl, I have thought about that. But, I am pretty sure they see stuff and ignore me cause randomly I will get a like. But, not on the really awesome stuff. Weird.

  9. I find texting works the best, if it’s a personal relationship. I asked a question on a forum recently and got really upset when the question above mine and the one below got a response. I stopped following the forum organizer.

    1. lyndagrace, I don't text. But, I am sure that would be a good idea. Most everyone I know does except for me and my husband.

  10. I don't answer dumb questions that other people like to chime in on. My questions don't get answered. Because they're so brilliant, nobody knows the answer. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. You should too, Ruth.

  12. some people are ruder then others, and also people have different styles of how they act on social media. younger people like likes but not random type comments, and some people don't answer anyone or comment ever on anything period.

    1. Jennifer, some people are very rude. I do have an aunt I see on Facebook and she is rude and I really don't want to know when I get a comment from her.
