On My Knees

That's where I spent most of my afternoon.

AND
not in a fun way at all.

But, it was all for a good cause.

 We are getting ready for the garden. Yay! Honeyman is tilling as we speak/ write. Whatever.

I can't wait until all our trees get big and block the neighbors house. They ruin my view.

 This is my weeping willow. I always wanted one. I can't wait til it's big and all weepy.
Please ignore the fact that my house is two different colors. We tell people we are in the middle of painting. We still have the green paint, but it never got finished and now Honeyman decided to paint it back white. Cause white is cheaper. Just letting that one go.

 These are some of the weeds I was on my knees pulling so they wouldn't wrap around the tines of the tiller. Cause I am awesome like that. I think my back may hate me, but that's OK.
I'll have me a monkey water bath later.

Here's one of my rhubarb plants that came up. After the garden flooded so bad last year, I didn't know if any would. But, two did. Yay! Cause I loves rhubarb pie!

I am so ready to plant and have fresh veggies and fruit. I love spring!

la, la, la... I Can't Hear You

I am now in my news free zone.

I am so sick of hearing about You Know Who.
The one who shall not be named.

No, not the guy from Harry Potter.
The dead Muslim dude.

Or is he dead?
And if he is dead when was he killed?
Was it three years ago or was it two days ago?

Who gets credit?
The president?
The former president?
Or should we just applaud the soldiers?

Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh!

I have had enough.

I believe in being informed, but I am just getting sick of hearing the same information over and over and over and o...
Well, you get the idea.

So, the news is off.
I think Facebook is a no go for awhile too.

People with all their little theories which slightly borders on the insanity.

People, the president gets the credit cause that's the way it works.
Have you lived through a presidency before? Have you ever had a boss?

When it is something to take credit for, the big cheese in charge does and if it's a bad thing he will blame the peons OR the person not in charge anymore.

Always been that way. Always will.

Reelection coming up?
Gotta get him now.
Or at least pull him off the ice we've been keeping him on for 3 years.

That makes sense.
With most people's attention spans,  Obama should have waited a year to ensure that would work.

Time to Celebrate

It has been a pretty busy April and it may be time to take a little breather.
May be not.
I haven't decided.

The A-Z challenge was very interesting and fun. It was tough, but I made it through.

It was hard for me to get to everyone that participated. But, I found some really amazing blogs.
There are tons of talented people out there.

Oh yeah.
One year ago today I started this blog.

It was a year of fumbling around and figuring out what I wanted this blog to be.
I am sure it still to be determined.

It's about me so, who knows from one week to the next what I am going to feel like writing.
Actually, it's more like day to day.
But, ya know....
